Visualize shows what's taking space in your home folder, biggest first. It's the screen for the question "where did all my space go?" You can open any folder to look deeper, check whether something is safe to delete, and remove it.

Read the screen
- The coloured strip at the top shows the five biggest items in this folder and how much of it each one takes. The grey end is everything else.
- Each row is a folder or file, with its size and a bar. Sizes fill in as Crumb measures them, and the list settles biggest first.
- The total at the top right says how much is in the folder you're looking at. While Crumb is still measuring, it says so far.
- A size that starts with ~ belongs to a very large or deep folder and means "at least this much".
Move around
- Click a folder to open it.
- The path above the list shows where you are. Click any part of it to go back up.
- Choose folder… starts somewhere else, such as an external drive or a folder outside your home folder.
- Show in Finder opens the folder you're looking at in Finder.
When you leave Visualize and come back, it keeps the folder you were in.
Check, show or delete a row
Point at a row to see its buttons:
- Safe? tells you what it is and whether it's safe to delete. See Safe? checks.
- The folder button shows it in Finder.
- The trash button deletes it.

Delete from Visualize
The trash button is ready once a row's size is known. Crumb then asks before it deletes anything, and names the item and its size.
What you delete here is gone for good, not moved to the Trash. Crumb refuses to delete protected places such as your Documents folder or your Mail, but anything else you confirm is removed.
If you're unsure about a folder, use Safe? first. For caches, Free Space is the better tool, because it removes only the parts that rebuild themselves.
Looking around Visualize is free. Deleting from it is part of Crumb Pro.
